A New Post With New Sketches!

Well after a bit of a delay, a new post! This summer has kept me pretty busy, a full-time job, working on new paintings, and then there's all the fun I've been having with family and friends! All work and no play?...I know it's just a balancing act, and I'm working on it.

Why So Glum, Chum...

So, a week and a half ago, while coming home from dropping off my newest painting to the Cannibal Flower show, Cherrey, Aileen, and I got into a little accident on the 5 freeway. Everybody got a little banged up but we're okay. After that I've been fighting off a cold for the last week, so, all that has led to my unfortunate stoppage in posting. But now I think I'm ready to get back on track.

Recently my friend Adrien and I have been talking about building dioramas and this is the first sketch of an idea I have. I really like playing around with historical costumes and it will give me a chance to do a little research, which should be fun.
